(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are excited to announce the addition of Naomi Fay to their full-time staff. Fay will serve as an Account Executive, Special Events.
In her new role, Fay will primarily work as an event coordinator at both the Redner's Event Center and Special Events at FirstEnergy Stadium. She will work with clients to plan a variety of functions at the Event Center, as well as plan and execute non-game-day events at America's Classic Ballpark.
Another aspect of Fay's role will be serving as the primary point of contact for game staff employees, helping them get hired, onboarded, and paid leading into and throughout the season. She was an intern with the Fightin Phils during the 2026 season, where she assisted with employee onboarding, special events, the Redner's Event Center, the store, and the accounting department.
Before joining the Fightin Phils as a full-time intern, Fay assisted at the Event Center in late 2025 and worked concessions for four seasons, starting in 2022. She attended Penn State Berks, where she played softball and ran cross-country, earning a degree in Kinesiology in 2025. While at Penn State Berks, Fay worked within the school's athletic department, assisting in gameday operations. She graduated from Brandywine Heights High School in 2021.
"I'm super excited for the opportunity to work for the Reading Fightin Phils," Fay said. "I've been here for so long and grew up in the area, and this is a really good place to grow. The support group here is awesome, so I'm excited to see where it leads me."
The Fightin Phils' strong internship program has produced a majority of Reading's front office staff, with 28 of 31 full-time staff members once serving as interns.
