(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are excited to announce the addition of Gabe Bunn to their full-time staff. Bunn will serve as a Coordinator, Food & Beverage/Operations.
In his new role, Bunn will assist with food and beverage operations, stadium maintenance, and overall ballpark preparation. He will help coordinate part-time staff schedules, oversee deliveries, and ensure the stadium is ready for game days and other events. Bunn will also support operations at the Redner's Event Center, including food and beverage service and event room setup.
Bunn was an intern with the Fightin Phils during the 2026 season, where he worked alongside the full-time operations staff to learn stadium maintenance, gameday preparation, and overall ballpark operations. He gained experience throughout the stadium and will now help train and guide future interns while continuing to assist with day-to-day operations.
Before joining the Fightin Phils, Bunn worked with the Lancaster Stormers as a video production assistant, where he assisted with graphics, scoreboard operations, and camera work. He attended Misericordia University, graduating in 2025 with a degree in Communications. While at Misericordia, Bunn played baseball and assisted with basketball gameday operations, including shot clock duties. He also played baseball, basketball, and golf at Wilson High School, graduating in 2021.
"It's cool to grow up here, grow up coming to the stadium, and even being able to play in the stadium in high school," Bunn said. "It's definitely a cool experience to now be working full-time, especially with how tight-knit it is here and how special it feels."
The Fightin Phils' strong internship program has produced a majority of Reading's front office staff, with 29 of 32 full-time staff members once serving as interns.
