Kristian Robinson Earns HOME Award for Fan Favorite

September 24th, 2026

RENO, Nev. – Every year, the Reno Aces front office awards four of its players a HOME award to recognize their efforts throughout the season. This year, they were handed out on Sunday, September 13 and the 2026 Fan Favorite is Kristian Robinson.

Robinson was among the steadiest of drumbeats for the Aces this season, appearing in all three outfield spots as well as serving as designated hitter. The iron man of Reno, no Aces player saw time in more games than Robinson did this season as his 116 games tied his career high from last season for the most in his career.

One thing the Bahamian native did was start the game off with a bang, as he four times this season clubbed a leadoff home run. Those four blasts were tied for the most in the Pacific Coast League in 2026, and they also tied the record for the most in a single season by a Reno Ace since Alek Thomas also hit four in 2021.

Every time that Robinson hit a baseball this year it felt like it was square on the barrel, totaling the most hard hits on the Aces with 117 while his 89.1 mph average exit velocity ranked seventh (minimum 25 games played). All of that was evidenced by the fact that Robinson hit a home run on Aug. 5 against El Paso with an exit velocity of 114.5 mph which was the hardest batted ball by an Ace in 2026, the fifth hardest hit in the PCL this season, and the fifth-longest home run in Greater Nevada Field history.

All that power resulted in Robinson leading the Aces in both home runs (15) and RBI (60), while he also scored the most runs (79) and drew the most walks (67). Those 60 RBI are tied for his career best that he also logged last year in 2025, while the homers, runs scored, and walks are all the second-best marks of his career. Meanwhile, his .269 batting average was his best since the 2023 campaign.

Three times this season Robinson logged a contest in which he recorded a pair of hits while also working a pair of walks, making him one of 41 players in the PCL to achieve those totals. However, only Robinson and James Tibbs III did so on three separate occasions, the most in the PCL.

Just as impressively, Robinson had reached base in 30 consecutive games from June 24 through Aug. 12. That fell just six games shy of LuJames Groover best stretch by an Ace this season, but they became the first pair of Aces to record respective 30-game on-base streaks in the same year since Tony Abreu and Cole Gillespie in 2011.

By year’s end, Robinsons 15 home runs and 22 stolen bases made him the first Ace in team history to ever record a season of 15 or more homers and 20 or more stolen bases. Always a threat on the base paths, Robinson finished the year 22-for-27 (81.5 percent) in stolen base attempts which is the most steals by an Ace since Yonny Hernández swiped 30 bags in 2022.

Whether he was crushing homers, stealing bases, recording one of his team-best nine outfield assists, or making one of his highlight-reel diving catches, Robinson was among the top players fans came to see at Greater Nevada Field.

The Reno Aces’ 2027 home opener is set for Tuesday, March 30 as they host the Tacoma Rainiers, Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Season tickets are currently on sale – for more information, fans can visit RenoAces.com or call (775) 334-7000.
