RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Flying Squirrels outfielder Bo Davidson has been selected as a 2026 Eastern League All-Star, Minor League Baseball announced on Monday.
Davidson played 73 games with the Flying Squirrels this season and hit .277 with 19 home runs, 12 doubles and 53 RBIs. He is the first Richmond player selected to the league’s Post-Season All-Star list since 2014.
His 19 home runs this season led the team and were the fourth-most in a season in franchise history.
At the time of his promotion to Triple-A Sacramento on July 17, Davidson was tied for second in the Eastern League in homers, tied for fifth in RBIs, tied for fifth in total bases (147), seventh in SLG (.521) and 10th in OPS (.861).
Davidson first joined the Flying Squirrels in July 2025 and hit 27 homers over 115 career games, which is tied for fifth-most in franchise history.
Earlier this year, he was named the Eastern League Player of the Month for June after hitting 11 homers with 23 RBIs over 25 games. He became the fourth player in team history to earn a Player of the Month award.
A native of Charlotte, Davidson attended Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, N.C. before playing at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute in Hudson, N.C. He signed with the San Francisco Giants as a non-drafted free agent in July 2023.
Davidson is the ninth Flying Squirrels player to be named an EL Post-Season All-Star, joining Rafael Cova (2010), Eric Surkamp (2011), Chris Heston (2012), Mick Kickham (2012), Jack Snodgrass (2013), Javier Herrera (2013), Mark Minicozzi (2013) and Matt Duffy (2014).
This year between Richmond and Sacramento, Davidson led all Giants minor leaguers in homers (29) and total bases (256) and ranked tied for first in RBIs (94).
He was also selected as a Northwest League Post-Season All-Star with High-A Eugene in 2025.
