RICHMOND Va. – The Richmond Flying Squirrels' first bobblehead giveaway of the season honors the club’s inaugural year at CarMax Park.
The Inaugural Season Logo Bobblehead presented by Pepsi will be given to the first 2,500 fans at Tuesday’s game against the Harrisburg Senators, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
The giveaway is the first of its kind at CarMax Park. Not celebrating a player or character, the Bobblehead pays homage to the Flying Squirrels’ new home.
The giveaway is the first of two bobblehead giveaways this season. A special Nutasha Bobblehead will be given out on August 5.
Tuesday’s game is a Silver Squirrels Tuesday presented by CareScout. Fans 55 and up are eligible to join to receive special discounts and perks at Tuesday home games at CarMax this season.
The first-place Flying Squirrels begin a pivotal series against third-place Harrisburg on Tuesday. Richmond leads the Eastern League’s Southwest Division by 6.5 games with 12 remaining in the first half.
Richmond looks to clinch a playoff spot for the first time since the 2023 season.
