
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Both teams were held scoreless through the first six innings of the game. RHP David Davalillo tossed six scoreless frames for the Express while Sugar Land’s RHP Mike Burrows, RHP Trey McLoughlin and RHP Jackson Nezuh held Round Rock to four hits.
Sugar Land broke through in the top of the seventh after putting runners on the corners with no outs. RF Joey Loperfido recorded a sacrifice fly, scoring 2B Raynel Delgado from third for the game’s only run.
