SALEM, VA — The Salem RidgeYaks have announced several promotions within the organization’s front office, recognizing the growth and contributions of members of the club’s staff.
Leading the group of promotions is Raleigh Duffer, who has been promoted from Director of Ticket Sales to Vice President of Ticket Sales & Service.
Duffer joined the organization as an Inside Sales Representative and quickly advanced, earning promotions to Account Executive, Ticket Sales Manager, and most recently, Director of Ticket Sales. Entering his fifth season with the Salem RidgeYaks, Duffer will oversee the organization’s ticket sales and service efforts while continuing to focus on growing the fan experience and strengthening relationships throughout the Salem and Roanoke Valley community.
“I am extremely grateful for this opportunity. Throughout my time in Salem, I have been surrounded by amazing teammates and wonderful fans that really make me love my job,” said Duffer. “I could not be more excited to continue to help grow our organization and the fan experience!”
In addition to Duffer’s promotion, the RidgeYaks have announced the following front office changes:
Austin Robinson has been promoted to Director of Field Operations, where he will oversee the organization’s field operations and assist in ensuring the club provides first-class experience and product for players and fans.
The organization has also promoted both of its Inside Sales Representatives to full-time positions.
Paige Tucci has been promoted to Group Sales Account Executive/Social Media Coordinator, combining her work in ticket sales with responsibilities supporting the RidgeYaks’ social media and digital content.
Matthew Weissman has been promoted to Account Executive, where he will continue developing relationships with fans and businesses while contributing to the club’s tickets sales efforts.
“We are extremely proud of the growth of these individuals and the work they have put in to earn these opportunities,” said General Manager, Allen Lawrence. “Each of them has demonstrated a commitment to the RidgeYaks, our fans and our community, and we are excited to see them continue to grow.”
