ALBUQUERQUE, NM. - The Bees’ offense came alive early for a Thursday morning first pitch and never let up, scoring 10 runs on 15 hits. Salt Lake used a four-run sixth inning to pull away and secure a 10-5 win over Albuquerque to guarantee no less than a series split to the Isotopes.

Game Summary
Salt Lake scored first for the third straight game, plating two runs in the first inning. Back-to-back singles by Yolmer Sánchez and Raudi Rodriguez set the table before a wild pitch and a Ben Gobbel groundout brought both runners home, putting the Bees ahead 2-0.
The lead grew to three in the fourth frame when Nelson Rada came home from third base on a Sebastián Rivero RBI groundout. Shortly after, Ben Gobbel delivered an RBI single to score Rodriguez, stretching the Bees' advantage to 4-0.
With two outs in the bottom of the fourth, Charlie Condon brought some energy to the home fans by driving his 26th home run of the year, bringing Albuquerque back within three runs.
Salt Lake extended its lead to 6-1 in the fifth when Rodriguez singled to center field, driving in two more runs and giving the Bees a five-run cushion entering the bottom half of the inning.
Albuquerque cut the deficit in half with two RBI doubles in the bottom of the fifth inning, making it 6-3 heading into the sixth.
Salt Lake blew the game open in the sixth, plating four runs to extend their lead to 10-3. The rally was highlighted by a two-run single from Logan Porter, followed by RBI singles from both Rodriguez and Niko Kavadas.
The Rockies’ Triple-A club added another run in the seventh via a two-out RBI single. Albuquerque tacked on one final run in the bottom of the ninth, but the late effort was not enough to overcome the deficit, as the Bees earned their third consecutive victory to guarantee no less than a series split.
Game Notes
- Salt Lake moved to 8-11 in day games and collected their first midweek matinee victory of the season (previously 0-3). The midweek day victory snapped a five-game losing streak in games under the sun during the week, having last won on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Albuquerque (8-3 score).
- The Bees have won three straight games, their longest winning streak since a five-gamer between August 14-19. Additionally, today is Salt Lake’s fourth consecutive road victory, matching their season high from April 12-23 (at Reno, at Las Vegas (3gm)).
- With today's early two-run surge, Salt Lake has now struck first in the opening inning across four consecutive games. They are 37-28 this season when scoring first opposed to 29-51 when the opponent scores first.
- After previously tallying a recent 0-14 stretch in games without a home run, the Bees have now won consecutive contests without the use of a longball. They are 16-33 this season in such games, going 6-15 on the road. Both wins have come this week (Tuesday and today).
- Salt Lake recorded their 10th straight game with at least one double, increasing the PCL’s longest active streak. It is the team’s fifth longest streak of the season, as the Bees tallied a season-long 20-gamer between June 14 and July 7. Additionally, Salt Lake has multiple doubles in each of their last four games, a streak that stands as the longest active among Triple-A clubs.
- With 15 hits in the contest, Salt Lake reached at least 15 hits for the 11th time this season. This performance marks their highest single-game hit total since racking up 19 against Round Rock a week ago.
- It’s the second straight night that Salt Lake has seen eight of its nine batters in the lineup reach base safely. Bryce Teodosio was the only Bee to not find his way on the bags.
- Today’s Bees win secured the season series against the Isotopes, the club’s fourth straight season holding the advantage over Albuquerque. This is the third team Salt Lake has earned a season series from, joining El Paso (8-4) and Reno (11-9).
- In his 24th start of the year, right-hander Caden Dana tossed five innings, marking his second such outing over his past four starts and his first since Sept. 1 at Sacramento. Dana surrendered three runs—his first earned runs allowed against Albuquerque in his career—on six hits while striking out one batter.
- Leading off the game on the second pitch, Nelson Rada singled to the opposite field. The outfielder extended his on-base streak to six games and his hit streak to four consecutive contests. Rada now sits just one hit away from 180 in his career at the Triple-A level. The Venezuelan came around to score, making it four straight games he’s scored in. Rada then swiped his 41st bag in the second inning, tying him with Kean Wong (2022) for the second most in a single season in franchise history.
- Raudi Rodriguez lined the second straight single in the first inning, splitting the five hole to move Rada to third. The outfielder has reached base safely in three straight games and has hits in back-to-back performances. Rodriguez extended the Bees' lead with a two-run single in the fifth inning, recording his ninth multi-hit game and fifth multi-RBI game of the season. The Dominican Republic native knocked in another run in the sixth giving him his fourth three-hit performance as a Bee.
- Sebastián Rivero extended his season-long on-base streak to seven games after being hit by a pitch during his first plate appearance. In the third inning, the catcher hit a leadoff single, extending his current hit streak to a season-high seven games. Rivero grounded out during the fourth frame to secure back-to-back games with an RBI.
- Yolmer Sánchez saw 46 pitches in today’s game, the most by any player in professional baseball since 2017 and the most by a Bee in Salt Lake history. In his first at-bat of the first inning, Sánchez worked a walk. The veteran battled through an 11-pitch at-bat to reach base and extend his on-base streak to four games. Sánchez is now one walk away from 450 at the Triple-A level. In the fourth frame, the utilityman drew another base on balls for his 12th multi-walk game of the season, marking his first since Aug. 30 at Tacoma. Opening the sixth inning with a double, Sánchez collected his 29th of the year to build on his single-season personal best at Triple-A.
- Ben Gobbel grounded out in his first at-bat, plating the Bees’ second run of the first inning. The infielder has now recorded an RBI in three straight games. Gobbel notched his second consecutive multi-hit game by adding singles in both the third and fourth frames. His RBI single in the fourth extended his hitting streak to seven games. Gobbel has RBIs in three straight games.
- In his second at-bat, Logan Porter worked a free pass. Today’s designated hitter has reached base safely in back-to-back games. Drawing base passes in both the fifth and eighth innings, Porter turned in his third multi-walk game of the season—his first since Aug. 16 at El Paso. His three walks on the day matched his highest single-game tally since June 20 of last year while playing for Sacramento. He sits five free passes away from 200 at the Triple-A level. Porter came through with his first knock of the game being a two-run single in the sixth inning. The catcher has hits in back-to-back games. The first of his two RBIs counted for his 160th of his Triple-A career.
- Arol Vera blooped his fourth double of the season down the left field line. The two-bagger is his first since Aug. 2 in Sugar Land. Vera’s double ties his season high on-base streak of five games. The infielder singled in the sixth inning giving him his first multi-hit performance since July 5 against Las Vegas.
- After starting 0-for-4, Niko Kavadas came through with an RBI single to right field to plate Vera in the sixth inning. The Notre Dame alum extended his hit streak to seven games, just two shy of his season-high nine-game streak. Kavadas also pushed his on-base streak to seven games and has now recorded an RBI in four straight games.
- In a standout bullpen performance, right-handed reliever Trevor Martin struck out all six batters he faced across two innings. Allowing one run on three hits, it marked his highest strikeout total in a relief outing since punching out seven on Aug. 25, 2023, while pitching for the Charleston RiverDogs.
- Closing out the game for Salt Lake, Mason Erla allowed a single run across two innings, matching his performance from his prior outing. Over these two consecutive two-inning appearances, he has surrendered a total of three hits.
