ALBUQUERQUE, NM. - The Bees scored six unanswered runs to erase a 5-1 deficit and force extra innings against the Isotopes. Ben Gobbel and Bryce Teodosio delivered RBI hits in the 10th inning before Kaleb Ort closed out the comeback with his 10th save of the season.

Game Summary
Salt Lake struck first with two outs in the first inning. Pablo Reyes found his way on with a bunt single before Niko Kavadas backed his infielder counterpart, splitting the gap in left-center field with a warning track double that plated Reyes and put the Bees up a run.
The home team claimed the lead in the following inning. A lead-off walk started the bottom of the second, followed by a second consecutive base on balls. Edouard Julien then lined a double off the wall, driving in both runners to give the Isotopes a 2-1 advantage.
Albuquerque pushed its advantage to 4-1 during the second frame when Chad Stevens launched his seventh home run of the year clear of the left-field wall, bringing home Julien.
Zeroes were traded by both sides until the bottom of the seventh inning when the Isotopes added some cushion on a Charlie Condon RBI single to extend the home squad’s lead to four.
The following inning opened with a Bryce Teodosio single and Reyes reaching on an error. After a flyout and a Sebastián Rivero walk, Nelson Rada worked a nine-pitch walk to plate Teodosio and cut the deficit to three.
Yolmer Sánchez followed with the second straight bases-loaded walk to make it a two-run game. With one out, Ben Gobbel grounded to third, but the ball fell out of the third baseman’s hand, allowing all runners to reach safely and bringing home Salt Lake’s fourth run to make it a one-run game.
With two outs, Raudi Rodriguez worked the third bases-loaded walk of the inning to bring home the tying run and even the game at five in the eighth.
Salt Lake threatened with runners in scoring position and just one out in the top of the ninth, but failed to cash in as the game remained tied heading into the bottom half.
Albuquerque’s leadoff hitter was hit by a pitch to begin the ninth inning. Despite this, Dillon Tate walked the tight rope to keep the score tied 5-5 headed to extra innings.
Gobbel led off the 10th inning with a double down the right-field line, driving in the automatic runner to put the Bees ahead for the first time since the opening frame. Teodosio followed with an RBI triple to score another run, extending Salt Lake’s lead to 7-5 and providing insurance.
Leonard Garcia started the bottom half and recorded the first two outs. Kaleb Ort came in and needed four pitches to earn his 10th save of the year and give the Bees a comeback victory.
Game Notes
- Tuesday was the Bees first win without a home run since July 19 vs. Reno, previously going 0-14 without a homer since. Salt Lake is 15-33 this season when going without a homer and 5-15 on the road. The Bees finished 14-12 in series openers this season and 6-7 on the road; they won three of their last four road series openers, including consecutive contests on Tuesday night (4-1 win on Sept. 1 at Sacramento).
- Tonight marked the 15th extra-inning game for Salt Lake this season, the most in a single season under the Bees moniker (since 2005). The Bees moved to 8-7 in extras this season. The franchise record is 17 games in 1996, when the club was known as the Buzz (14-3 record in extras that season). Six of the Bees’ eight wins in extended contests have come on the road, marking a new franchise record (since 2005) surpassing the five wins collected by the 2005, 2015, 2016 and 2019 squads.
- Salt Lake’s last two victories at Isotopes Park have come in extra-inning fashion, winning 8-7 in 10 innings on June 27. Since 2005, the Bees are 5-5 against the Isotopes in Albuquerque, tying for the third most wins in any road venue.
- In the eighth inning, the Bees scored four runs on four walks and just one hit. It was the third such inning in 2026 that Salt Lake had tallied 4+ runs, 4+ walks and one or less hits in a single frame (7th inn., Apr. 3 vs. SAC; 1st inn., July 12 at SAC). It is the ninth time since 2005 that an inning like this has occurred for the Bees. Additionally, three of the walks occurred with the bases loaded, becoming the third time this season Salt Lake tallied three free bases with every bag occupied (8th inn., Mar. 31 vs. SAC; 7th inn., Apr. 3 vs. SAC).
- Making his 20th start of the season, Sam Aldegheri dealt five innings of four-run baseball while striking out six, his most since his seven-K outing on Aug. 6 against Oklahoma City. He also walked five, marking his second time doing so in his past three games. Aldegheri surpassed 80 strikeouts on the season in 2026.
- The first player to reach base was Pablo Reyes, who bunted for a single to keep the first inning alive with two outs. The infielder vying for the batting title has reached base safely in three straight games and has hits in back-to-back games.
- Niko Kavadas sparked some two-out fire in the first inning, splitting the gap in left-center field to plate Reyes for the game’s first run on a two-bagger that bounced off the wall. Kavadas has nine extra-base hits in September, which leads the PCL for the month. The first baseman, coming off PCL Player of the Week honors, has hits in five straight games and a double in four straight, matching the longest doubles streak of the season by a Bee, joining Cade Marlowe from Sept. 6-11.
- To keep the first inning going with two outs on the board, Sebastián Rivero watched four straight balls to reach base. The catcher has reached base safely in five straight games, matching his season-high streak. Rivero would go on to single in the sixth inning to push his hit streak to five games. He finished with a multi-walk game, representing his first since May 11 of last year versus Sugar Land. The Venezuelan also finished with a multi-hit game, his second in his last three games.
- Drawing a lead-off walk in the third inning during his second plate appearance, Raudi Rodriguez snapped a two-game stretch in which the outfielder had been held off base.
- Ben Gobbel worked a one-out base on balls in the fifth inning. The infielder has reached base safely in five straight games with the walk being his 20th of the season as he has at least one in three of his last four games. Delivering an extra-inning RBI double for his 10th of the year, Gobbel put the Bees ahead in the 10th and extended his hitting streak to five games.
- In his second rehab outing for Salt Lake, right-hander Sam Bachman tossed his second consecutive scoreless performance, allowing one hit and one walk with one strikeout over 18 pitches.
- In his briefest appearance since Aug. 27 at Tacoma, right-hander Najer Victor pitched 0.2 innings, surrendering one run on a single hit and ending a 10-game streak with at least one strikeout.
- Bryce Teodosio kept his on-base streak alive with an eighth-inning single up the middle, extending his streak to four straight games and snapping a two-game hitless skid. He then swiped his 27th base of the season, giving him stolen bases in back-to-back games and in three of his last four. In the 10th, Teodosio hit his second triple of the season and first since May 17 against El Paso, his second game of the season. The three-bagger plated Salt Lake’s seventh run to put the Bees ahead in extra innings.
- In the eighth inning, Nelson Rada drew a nine-pitch walk with the bases loaded. The outfielder extended his on-base streak to four games, and his RBI marked back-to-back games with at least one run driven in, bringing his total to three over that span.
- Yolmer Sánchez drew the second straight bases-loaded walk to plate Salt Lake’s third run of the game. The veteran continues to lead the team in RBIs, with the walk marking his 75th of the season. Sánchez has reached base safely in consecutive games, with the walk being his 55th of the season.
- Dillon Tate stranded three runners in two innings of scoreless baseball. The right-hander extended his scoreless streak to a season-high 6.2 innings while striking out multiple batters for the second straight game.
- Leonard Garcia recorded the first two outs for the Bees in the bottom of the 10th. The left-hander bounced back from a three-run outing in his previous appearance, tossing 0.2 scoreless innings with one strikeout. Garcia has now logged at least one strikeout in 14 of his 15 games with Salt Lake.
- In a four-pitch outing, Kaleb Ort earned his 10th save of the campaign. This marks his highest save total since recording 16 for Worcester in 2022, and it represents his lowest pitch count in an appearance at any level since throwing three pitches on May 9 of last year with Houston. Ort is the first Bee to earn 10 saves in a season since Javy Guerra tallied 12 in 2016 and is the fourth Bee since 2015 to have double-digit saves. Ort became the fourth PCL reliever to collect 10+ saves this season, joining Roddery Muñoz (SUG), TJ Shook (ABQ) and Michael Fulmer (SAC).
