SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — The Salt Lake Bees and Miller Sports + Entertainment welcomed more than 8,000 fans to The Ballpark at America First Square on Sept. 26–27 for the third annual Béisbol en Salt Lake, a two-day celebration of professional Mexican baseball and Hispanic culture during Hispanic Heritage Month.

The weekend featured the Águilas de Mexicali, four-time champions of the Mexican Pacific League, and the Jaguares de Nayarit, one of the league’s newest franchises. The two clubs competed in a pair of exhibition games while fans enjoyed live music, traditional Hispanic dance performances, food and family-friendly activities throughout the ballpark.

Saturday’s festivities began with a free youth baseball clinic before fans gathered for the evening matchup and a postgame drone show celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Sunday continued the celebration with additional dance performances, a mariachi concert and an opportunity for fans to walk the bases following the game.

The weekend brought together baseball fans and families from across the Salt Lake Valley, highlighting the sport’s deep connections to Hispanic culture and the community’s passion for the game.

The third annual event continued a tradition that began in 2024 and has grown into a signature celebration of baseball and Hispanic heritage in the Salt Lake area. Miller Sports + Entertainment announced plans for Béisbol en Salt Lake to return in 2027.
