SOUTH JORDAN, UT. - For the second straight night, the Dirty Sodas could only muster three hits in a 6-1 defeat to Round Rock. Crooked numbers for the visitors bookended Wednesday’s clash, scoring twice in the first and ninth.

Game Summary
Round Rock scored first with a dose of two-out magic, benefitting from two walks and a well-placed single. Both runners came across, giving the Express a 2-0 lead after the opening frame of action on Wednesday. More two-out action came in the third for the visitors, extending their advantage to 3-0 on a bases-loaded walk.
The Dirty Sodas got on the board in the fourth, collecting a run on after Yolmer Sánchez beat out an infield single. With two runners on, the Bees were searching for more, but came up empty as the inning abruptly concluded on a 6-4-3 double play.
Meanwhile, Salt Lake’s bullpen was doing its job, as it sat down 13 straight between the third and seventh innings. However, the streak came to a screeching halt as MLB rehabber Josh Jung obliterated Najer Victor’s third pitch of the eighth for a solo shot to left and a 4-1 lead.
The Express piled on their lead for good measure in the ninth, scoring two runs on two hits to take a 6-1 margin into the home half. That score stood as the Dirty Sodas fizzled out, going down in order and quietly into the Wednesday night.

- Wednesday home games continue to be a challenge for Salt Lake, with the team now holding a 4-8 mark at home and an 8-15 overall record on the day. Wednesday stands as their second-weakest day by win percentage, trailing only Thursday's 5-15 mark. Additionally, the Bees are now 1-11 in games they score a single run.
- The Salt Lake offense has gone 0-for-21 against the Round Rock bullpen through two games in the series. The offense has managed two walks and struck out six times in 23 plate appearances.
- Salt Lake failed to leave the yard tonight, dropping to 14-30 this season in games without a homer. The Bees have lost each of their last 11 games where no homers are tallied (last win: July 19 vs. Reno). The Bees have yet to have a power surge in September, last launching multiple homers as a team on August 22 vs. Reno (3 HR).
- It’s just the seventh time this season Salt Lake has recorded three or less hits. It’s also the second straight game that the Bees have put three runs on the scoreboard. Salt Lake is 0-7 when three or less runs are hit by the Bees.
- Sam Aldegheri fired three innings of work in his 20th career Triple-A start, his shortest outing since 2.2 innings on August 18 vs. Reno. The Italian struck out two, his fewest in a single appearance since May 28 at Round Rock (also two Ks).
- Raudi Rodriguez drew a walk, continuing his prowess at home. It was his 13th free pass at home as opposed to five walks on the road. Rodriguez has a .385 OBP inside the confines of The Ballpark at America First Square. He later smashed a double to the right center gap, his first two-bagger at the Triple-A level.
- Pablo Reyes started a new on-base streak with his 57th walk of the campaign. After seeing his 17-game hit streak end last night, the third baseman has reached safely in 18 of his last 19 games. Reyes walked again, his 11th game with multiple free passes in 2026. He scored on that trip, coming home in four of his last five games.
- Sebastián Rivero recorded the Bees’ first hit of the game, singling to left center. He owns a two-game hit streak. Rivero saw four straight pitches out of the zone, walking in consecutive contests.
- Yolmer Sánchez legged out an infield single, bringing home Salt Lake’s first run. The utilityman has hits in seven of the eight games in September with four RBI.
- Hagen Danner recorded his third scoreless outing across his last four appearances. He fired a 1-2-3 fourth inning ending the frame with 44th punchout of the season.
- Trevor Martin threw his longest scoreless appearance with Salt Lake, going two perfect innings with three strikeouts. Since joining the Bees on August 18, Martin has 10 strikeouts (four outings worth).
- Jared Southard tallied back-to-back scoreless efforts with his effective seventh inning. The Texan continues to be better at home in South Jordan, posting a 3.51 ERA compared to a 7.67 ERA on the road.
- Najer Victor has allowed six runs in his first 3.2 innings back from the injured list, including three homers. The righty has tallied a strikeout in all four outings.
- Following a scoreless outing, Kaleb Ort surrendered two runs on two hits and a walk across one inning. Across two September games, the right-hander's ERA moved to 6.00 after giving up a pair of runs for the second time in three appearances.
