SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — The Salt Lake Bees announced their schedule for the 2027 season and third year at The Ballpark at America First Square.
Salt Lake will open the 2027 season at home for the first time since 2023, hosting the El Paso Chihuahuas for a three-game series March 26-28 at The Ballpark at America First Square. Opening Day on March 26 will mark the earliest season opener in franchise history.
The Bees opened the 2025 season against El Paso in 2025, but the 2027 matchup will be the first of just two series between the clubs. After opening the season in South Jordan, Salt Lake will not face the Chihuahuas again until the final series of the season, which will be played at Southwest University Park in El Paso.
Salt Lake will see Reno and Sacramento more than any other opponent in 2027, facing each club 24 times.
The Bees will host Reno for two series during the first half of the season, including the club's first six-game homestand of the year April 6-11 at The Ballpark at America First Square. Salt Lake will then face Reno twice during the second half, including a road series at Greater Nevada Field during the week of the Fourth of July. The trip to Reno will mark Salt Lake's first Fourth of July away from home since 2021.
Salt Lake will play Tacoma 18 times in 2027, with 12 games at home and six on the road. The Bees will face the Rainiers twice in May as part of a schedule that splits the 12 games between Salt Lake and Tacoma.
The Bees will meet Las Vegas 15 times, including six games at home and nine at Las Vegas. Salt Lake's road schedule against the Aviators includes a three-game series immediately following the All-Star break.
Salt Lake will play Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, Round Rock and Sugar Land 12 times apiece. The Bees will celebrate Pioneer Day on July 24 at home against Albuquerque.
The 2027 season will feature two interleague series for Salt Lake, including a first-time matchup against the Gwinnett Stripers, Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
The Bees will host Gwinnett May 11-16 at The Ballpark at America First Square. It will mark the first time in franchise history that Salt Lake has faced Gwinnett.
Salt Lake will also travel to Des Moines August 24-29 to face the Iowa Cubs, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The series will mark the Bees' first matchup against Iowa since 2019.
The Bees will embark on an early-season 13-day road stretch from April 27 through May 9, traveling to face Sacramento and Tacoma.
Later in the season, Salt Lake will enjoy a 12-game homestand from August 31 through September 12, marking the final two homestands of the regular season. The Bees will host Oklahoma City before welcoming Sacramento to close out the home portion of the schedule.
Following the conclusion of the 12-game homestand, Salt Lake will finish the regular season on the road against El Paso.
Game times and the Bees' 2027 theme night calendar will be announced at a later date.
