
MOOSIC, PA (August 8, 2026) – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders were blanked 9-0 by the Rochester Red Wings on Saturday night. MLB Rehabber Carlos Rodón tossed 48 pitches in two and two thirds' innings as SWB was shut out for the fourth time this season.
Once again, Rochester got the first run of the game with a leadoff solo shot from #4 prospect Seaver King. Rodón returned and sat down the next seven batters he faced, but the Red Wings came back for more in the third. A two-run triple off the bat of Phillip Glasser made it 3-0.
Rochester tacked on one more each in the fourth and fifth.
Leandro Pineda and Yohandy Morales homered in the sixth inning and Trey Lipscomb added one of his own in the ninth for a 9-0 advantage.
Rodón (L, 0-1) let up three runs in 2.2 frames. The southpaw struck out four on 48 pitches. Rochester worked their utilized seven pitchers in their win.
