Damian Priest Appearance Rescheduled To 9/8

August 14th, 2026

Bridgewater, New Jersey – The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, have announced the rescheduling of wrestling superstar Damian Priest's appearance for a special WWE Night at TD Bank Ballpark to Tuesday, September 8. The Patriots take on the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) at 6:35 pm.

Priest, one-half of the current WWE Tag Team Champions, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and then meet a limited number of fans set up in a suite during the game for pictures. The Patriots are selling a VIP package that includes an upper box ticket and photo with Priest for $100. The package includes one (1) photo and there will not be any autographs.

In addition, the first 1,000 adults in attendance will receive an exclusive WWE themed Patriots jersey when they enter the ballpark.

Priest’s mission is clear: to carve out a legacy so legendary that his name will be etched in WWE history forever.

Priest burst onto the scene in 2021, aligning with Bad Bunny to defeat The Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37. Later that year, he captured the United States Championship, but after being left off the WrestleMania 38 card, Priest joined The Judgment Day, aligning himself with Edge, Rhea Ripley, and later, Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio.

By June 2022, Priest led a coup against Edge, becoming the driving force behind the faction’s reign of terror. His brutal assault on former ally Bad Bunny set the stage for their showdown at WWE Backlash, where Priest lost but solidified his place in WWE lore.

In 2023, Priest seized two Tag Team Title reigns with Bálor and the Money in the Bank contract. The Archer of Infamy waited for the perfect moment to cash in, targeting Drew McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL. However, betrayal at SummerSlam from Bálor altered his path, sparking a new chapter for Priest and Judgment Day.

Now, with his sights set on championship gold once again, Priest is more dangerous than ever — because when he aims, he doesn’t miss.
