SOUTH BEND, IN – In conjunction with Major League Baseball, the South Bend Cubs have announced home game start times for the 2027 season. The Cubs will open the season on the road against the Quad Cities River Bandits before returning to Four Winds Field for the home opener on Tuesday, April 6, against the Peoria Chiefs. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM ET. All game times are listed in Eastern Time.
“Each season brings a renewed sense of excitement, and we can’t wait to welcome fans back to Four Winds Field in 2027,” South Bend Cubs President Joe Hart said. “As we prepare for the 40th anniversary of our organization next year, our staff is hard at work planning events and promotions to honor the history of the South Bend baseball franchise.”
Most home games during the 2027 season will begin at 7:05 PM, while most Sunday home games are scheduled for 2:05 PM. Click the link above to view the complete schedule and game times.
Several Saturday home games early in the season will feature afternoon start times. Games on April 10, April 24, May 15, and May 29 are scheduled to begin at 4:05 PM.
The Cubs will once again host thousands of students during their annual Education Day games at Four Winds Field. Three Wednesday morning games are scheduled for April 21, May 12, and May 26, with each beginning at 11:05 AM.
Following Major League Baseball scheduling guidelines, games immediately preceding a late-morning start must begin no later than 6:05 PM. As a result, the Cubs will play at 6:05 PM on April 20, May 11, and May 25.
This season, the South Bend Cubs will host two Sunday night baseball games around major holidays. On the night before Memorial Day, May 30, and on Independence Day, July 4, games will begin at 7:05 PM. Both nights will feature a post-game fireworks show.
The 2027 schedule features 66 home games at Four Winds Field, including matchups against every team in the Midwest League’s Western Division and visits from several Eastern Division opponents.
