Eugene put up multiple runs in five different frames as they cruised past the Indians, 13-1, in front of 3,824 fans at Avista Stadium for Bark in the Park Night presented by The Dave & Molly Show. The loss dropped Spokane to 20-17 in the second half - tied with Everett and Eugene atop the Northwest League standings.
TOP PERFORMERS
Roldy Brito starred on both sides of the both for the Indians. The Rockies No. 2 prospect made a leaping catch at the wall to take away extra bases in the top of the fourth and followed that up with his first High-A home run - a frozen rope over the wall in dead center - in the bottom of the frame.
Hunter Dryden was right at home at Avista Stadium. The former Deer Park Stag and Whitworth Pirate turned in one of his best outings of the season in front of 50+ friends and family. The right-hander struck out five while allowing just three hits over six innings of one-run ball to pick up his third win of the season.
