SAN ANTONIO, TX - A four-run eighth inning sunk the Cardinals, 6-2, against the San Antonio Missions on Friday night at Wolff Stadium.
Chen-Wei Lin had retired seven-straight batters before allowing the four runs in the eighth inning to take the loss.
The Cardinals had rallied to tie the game after falling behind, 2-2. Rainiel Rodriguez got them on the board with a solo home run in the sixth inning and Zach Levenson brought home the tying run on a bases-loaded hit by pitch in the seventh.
Tanner Franklin allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits with seven strikeouts and two walks in his Double-A debut.

NOTES:
• Rodriguez's home run was his second of the series and his 14th of the season at Double-A.
