
SAN ANTONIO, TX - The Cardinals dropped their series finale in San Antonio, 7-4, to the Missions on Sunday night at Nelson Wolff Stadium and dropped four of the six games in the series.
Rainiel Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with three singles and an RBI to lead the offense. He drove home Tai Peete after a triple in the third inning to tie the game, 2-2.
Deniel Ortiz homered in the fourth to put Springfield up again, but once again the Missions tied the game in the bottom of the fourth.
Braden Davis allowed three runs on two hits over 3.1 innings with four strikeouts and four walks in a no-decision.
Won-Bin Cho gave the Cardinals the lead with an RBI-single in the top of the sixth before the Missions scored four unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth off reliver Jose Davila to take the lead for good.
