
SPRINGFIELD, MO - The Springfield Cardinals took down the Wichita Wind Surge 4-3 on Saturday, their 52nd win of the 2026 season, pushing them four games over .500 overall. Home runs from Ryan Campos and Jesús Báez led the charge for Springfield to get back in the win column.

NOTES:
- Chen-Wei line struck out seven batters across 5.1 innings. He allowed three runs on six hits while walking just one batter.
- Randel Clemente shined for his fifth save, recording the final six outs of the game all on strikeouts. He surrendered three hits but preserved the win.
- After falling into an early 1-0 hole, Campos launched a game-tying solo shot in the bottom of the first. He has 11 homers on the year.
- Báez left the yard with a three-run home run in the bottom of the third, giving Springfield enough offense for the win. Báez leads the team with 13 home runs now.
