SAN ANTONIO, TX - The Cardinals took down the San Antonio Missions, 5-2, to pick up their 10th win in the last 11 games on Tuesday night at Wolff Stadium.
Blake Aita picked up his first Double-A win after allowing one run over a season-high 6.1 innings. He allowed five hits and did not issue a walk.
Jesus Baez delivered late insurance with a two-run home run in the eighth to put the Cards up, 5-1. It was his 15th Double-A home run and his seventh in his last nine games.
Darlin Saladin worked a perfect ninth to earn his second save of the season.

• Tai Pete (2x5) and Jack Gurevitch (1x3) each recorded their first Double-A hits in their Cardinals debuts.
• Rainiel Rodriguez (0x5) saw his hitting streak end at eight games.
• Springfield improved to a league-best 23-11 in the second half and are now 4.0 games up on second-place Tulsa.
• Springfield improves its overall record to a season-high five games above .500 (53-48).
