CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Cardinals were shut out, 4-0, by the Corpus Christi Hooks on Wednesday night at Whataburger Field.
The loss snapped a nine-game win streak for Springfield in Corpus Christi dating back to June, 2024.
Daniel Eagen took the loss, allowing four runs on seven hits over five innings. He struck out six to help Springfield set a new single-season franchise record.
