Familiar Names To Visit CHS Field In 2027 With Home Opener March 26

August 13th, 2026

ST. PAUL, MN (August 13, 2026) - The usual cast of characters will make their appearances to CHS field in 2027. The St. Paul Saints, on the other hand, will make their first visit to the state of Texas since the Independent Professional Baseball days as they cross over for the second consecutive season and take on a pair of Pacific Coast League teams. The Saints will also head back to the Northeast and face-off against the Minnesota Twins former Triple-A affiliate while two Northeast teams return to Lowertown, St. Paul. Not only that, but the Saints will have their earliest home start in franchise history.

The 150-game 2027 schedule kicks off at CHS Field on Friday, March 26 with a three-game series against the Louisville Bats (Cincinnati Reds). From there, however, the Saints will head deep in the heart of Texas for the first of two, two-week roadtrips during the season. They will take on Pacific Coast League teams in the Sugar Land Space Cowboys (Houston Astros), from March 30-April 4, and the Round Rock Express (Texas Rangers) from April 6-11. It’s the second time in franchise history the Saints have played the Express, with the two meeting at CHS Field in 2025.

The International League will continue the schedule it’s adopted over the last five seasons, six-game series with a universal Monday off day. The lone exception to the Monday off day will be when the Saints travel to Indianapolis and play on Labor Day, May 31 with an off-day on Tuesday, June 1. The exception to the six-game series are the three-game series to open the season and a three-game series from July 16-18, in which the Saints will travel to Louisville, following the four-day Major League All-Star break.

The Saints have one, 12-game homestand with the Omaha Storm Chasers (Kansas City Royals) from June 15-20 followed by the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies) from June 22-27. The Saints have two, two-week roadtrips with the first being the one down to Texas in late March/early April and the second one prior to their two-week homestand when they play the Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh Pirates) from June 2-6 and the Bats from June 8-13.

The 150-game schedule will consist of 75 home games and 75 road games. Game times, along with information on single game and group tickets, will be announced at a later date.

The Saints will play two teams 24 times: the Indians and Columbus Clippers (Cleveland Guardians, both 12 at home and 12 on the road. They take on four teams a total of 18 times with the Bats, nine at home and nine on the road, Toledo Mud Hens (Detroit Tigers), 12 at home and six on the road, Storm Chasers, 12 at home and six on the road, and Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs), six at home and 12 on the road. The Saints play five different teams in one, six-game series: Space Cowboys, Express, and Rochester Red Wings (Washington Nationals), all on the road, and the IronPigs and Syracuse Mets (New York Mets) at CHS Field.

Most series are six games in length, with the two exceptions previously mentioned, beginning on Tuesday and going through Sunday with every Monday being a league-wide off-day (with the exception of Labor Day, May 31 for the Saints when they take on Indianapolis and get Tuesday, June 1 off).

Overall, the Saints have 12 homestands, with one, 12-game homestand, one three-game homestand and 10, six-game homestands.

The Saints have two, 12-game roadtrips, eight, six-game roadtrips, and one, three-game roadtrip. The four-day All-Star break takes place July 12-15, preceding the lone three-game roadtrip.

In all, 39 of the 75 Saints home games will take place Friday-Sunday and 51 of 75 Thursday-Sunday. There is a total of three home games in March, 10 in April, 14 in May, 12 in June, 12 in July, 13 in August, and 12 in September.
