RHP Miguel Ullola entered in the eighth and allowed just one hit while striking out one to keep the Comets scoreless and carry the two-run advantage into the ninth.
RHP Roddery Muñoz recorded the first two outs of the ninth on a fly out and strikeout before Hyeseong Kim connected on a two-out solo home run to cut the Sugar Land lead to 2-1. Munoz quickly bounced back, striking out the next batter he faced to close out the victory for the Space Cowboys.
