Sugar Land Returns To Constellation Field For Six-Game Series with Oklahoma City

Nothing Night, Books At The Ballpark and Harry Potter Night Highlight Six-Game Homestand

Following a 12-game road trip against the Albuquerque Isotopes and the Round Rock Express, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys return to Constellation Field for a six-game set against the Oklahoma City Comets, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, from Tuesday, August 18 through Sunday, August 23.

Tuesday, August 18 vs. Oklahoma City @ 7:05 pm

The homestand opens with Nothing Night, a night dedicated to pure baseball. There will be no music, on-field promotions, ad reads, videos or other frills throughout the game, simply the Space Cowboys taking on the Oklahoma City Comets.

It’s also another Silver Stars Tuesday presented by Naskila Casino. Silver Stars memberships are open to all fans ages 55 and older and include tickets to all Tuesday home games, a ticket exchange program, a free drink for every Tuesday home game, a Silver Stars t-shirt and access to play Baseball Bingo each Tuesday night.

Stay cool with $5 Frozens presented by Cayman Jack with $5 frozen margaritas available at select concession stands around Constellation Field.

Wednesday, August 19 vs. Oklahoma City @ 7:05 pm

Wednesday brings Dollar Dog Night presented by Texas Chili Company, with hot dogs available for just $1 throughout the game.

It’s also another Waggin’ Wednesday presented by Hollywood Feed, where fans can bring their pups out to enjoy a night at the ballpark. Dogs do not require tickets, but fans bringing dogs will need to sign a waiver upon entry.

In partnership with Goodwill Houston, the Space Cowboys are hosting Goodwill Wednesday every Wednesday, where fans can bring any gently used items to donate at Constellation Field and receive a free grassland ticket to that day’s game.

Thursday, August 20 vs. Oklahoma City @ 7:05 pm

The Space Cowboys will host their first Books at the Ballpark presented by Enchanted Chapters on Thursday night. Fans are invited to shop local book vendors and hear from local authors during a panel beginning at 6:20 pm in the H-E-B Picnic Plaza. Featured vendors include Enchanted Chapters, Tones & Pages, Emily Goar Designs and Sparkle and Shine by Lynn, and featured authors are set to include Cedar James, Nicole Lenz, Emily Rex, C.M. Stewart, M.E. Mason, Gia Stone, Kimberly Page, Miah Omaha and Ziye Taylor.

Enjoy discounts on select beers and sodas during another Thirsty Thursday presented by Eureka Heights.

The Space Cowboys are also offering their Military Value Plan (MVP) which is available exclusively for active duty and retired military personnel and their families. The MVP includes tickets to every Thursday home games, flexible ticket options and a limited-edition Space Cowboys t-shirt for just $65 per plan. 

Friday, August 21 vs. Oklahoma City @ 7:05 pm

Harry Potter Night returns to Constellation Field on Friday as the first 2,000 fans will receive a Space Cowboys Harry Potter House jersey.

Additionally, the Space Cowboys will wear special on-field Harry Potter Jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. Arrive early for a pregame Quad Ball demonstration, plus take advantage of unique photo opportunities and specialty-themed cocktails throughout the evening.

Stick around after the game for another Fireworks Friday presented by Visit Sugar Land featuring a Texas-sized postgame fireworks show.

Throughout the weekend, the Rivalry Dog as Sugar Land takes on Oklahoma City will be a Coleslaw Chili Hot Dog, featuring an all-beef hot dog on a Martin’s bun with Texas chili, oil and vinegar coleslaw and sport peppers. The Rivalry Dog is available at the GameDay Grill Cart located on the first-base pad behind Section One.

Saturday, August 22 vs. Oklahoma City @ 7:05 p.m.

Saturday night brings the return of Augtoberfest presented by Karbachtoberfest to Constellation Field. Special ticket packages are available for $25 that include a special-edition Augtoberfest beer stein and five beer tastings, with $7 beer stein refills available. Fans can select the Augtoberfest add-on in their cart when purchasing tickets.

Muffin the Bat Dog presented by PawDoc will also be at Constellation Field.

Sunday, August 23 vs. Oklahoma City @ 2:05 pm.

The homestand concludes Sunday afternoon with the Space Cowboys taking the field as the Payasos del Rodeo de Sugar Land as part of Minor League Baseball's Copa de la Diversión initiative. 

Sunday is also another Orion’s Kids Day presented by Caldwell & Steinbring, featuring pregame catch on the field, pregame player autographs and postgame Kids Run the Bases.

Family Four Packs presented by Jellystone Park™ Waller are available for Sunday and include four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for $44 in the Hot Corner or Grassland. Additional tickets can be added to Family Four Packs, and ticket upgrades are available for $88 in Field Box I, Field Box II and Baseline Reserved II sections. Fans can use the code “FAMILYFOUR” at checkout to redeem.

Muffin the Bat Dog will also be at Constellation Field for a second consecutive game.
