Get ready for another year of world-famous fun because the Toledo Mud Hens’ 2027 home schedule is here! It all begins on Opening Day, Friday, March 26, versus the Indianapolis Indians.
The beloved Toledo tradition will once again fall on Good Friday. The date marks the earliest season start in team history and kicks off the Mud Hens’ 25th season at Fifth Third Field. The Toledo Walleye will also be at home that day. To celebrate this momentous occasion and bring fans and community members together, the organization will host an all-day, Fins & Feathers Festival downtown. Details about this event will be announced later this fall.
The Mud Hens’ 2027 schedule is full of several other opportunities for weekend fun. Thirty-nine of the home games fall on a weekend. The team will also be home for holiday weekends like Mother’s Day (May 9) and Labor Day Weekend (September 3-5).
Fans will get to see some great baseball matchups in town this season. The Mud Hens will host division rival and Cleveland Guardians affiliate Columbus twice (June 8-13 and September 1-5). The team will also face Chicago Cubs affiliate Iowa at home April 20-25, and Cincinnati Reds affiliate Louisville August 24-29.
The last home game of the regular 2027 season will be Sunday, September 19.
