EVERETT, WA – The Canadians fell 13-0 to the Everett AquaSox (SEA) Tuesday night at Everett Memorial Stadium in their most lopsided loss of the season. Vancouver coughed up five home runs to establish a new single-game season high.
Everett raced out to an early lead in the opening inning, plating three runs thanks in part to a pair of solo homers. They would add two in the fifth to chase starter Troy Guthrie (L, 2-2) from the game then scored four more in the third to go up 9-0.
After a scoreless fourth, the ‘Sox clubbed their fourth homer of the game in the fifth to lead 11-0 then added a two-run shot in the sixth.
The only pitcher not to allow multiple runs was position player Raimundo De Los Santos, who tossed a scoreless eighth while stranding a walk and a single once the game was out of hand.
Newcomer Gable Mitchell paced the offense with the lone two-hit performance, his second two-knock game since he was drafted last month. His fellow 2026 draftee Bryce Chance and Jake Casey were the other two C’s who reached base more than once.
The series continues tomorrow night. #16 Blue Jays prospect Daniel Guerra will take the ball opposite Chase Centala. First pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m. on the C’s Broadcast Network.
