PASCO, WA – A relentless offensive attack from the Tri-City Dust Devils (LAA) made the Canadians 10-3 losers Thursday night at Gesa Stadium. The C’s coughed up 17 hits – their second-highest total this year – and made five errors, the most miscues in a game since a franchise-record seven were committed on April 9, 2022.
Vancouver would enjoy the lead twice in the early goings. Jean Joseph clubbed a go-ahead two-run homer in the second after the Dust Devils went deep for a solo shot in the first then Ryan Sprock was set up for a sacrifice fly after David Calabrese singled and stole two bases in the third.
Leading 3-2 heading into the bottom of the third, the C’s would go on to surrender a run or more in each of the next four innings and, when the dust settled after a scoreless seventh, they trailed 8-3.
Tri-City plated two unearned runs in the eighth and stymied Vancouver on offense the rest of the way to win 10-3.
