Visalia, CA – The Visalia Rawhide (54-76, 26-38) fell to the Stockton Ports (60-70, 33-31) 8-6 on Friday night at Valley Strong Ballpark.
The Rawhide were an out away from victory but Stockton hit a go-ahead three run home run for an 8-6 lead in the top of the ninth inning. The series is tied at two with two games remaining in the 2026 season.
Visalia used two three run frames in the third and sixth innings to erase Stockton leads.
In the third Victor Santana led off with a walk, Adriel Radney singled and Carson Kerce banged an RBI double to right field. Pedro Blanco then poked a two out two RBI single to right field for a 3-2 Visalia lead.
After the Ports plated two runs in the fourth the Rawhide used a two out rally in the sixth to retake the lead. Jake Duer doubled down the left field line, Jack Spanier walked and Santana laced a game tying RBI hit to left.
Radney and Kerce followed with RBI singles of their own for a 6-4 lead.
Stockton cut the lead in half with a home run in the seventh before the ninth inning theatrics. The Ports scored six of their eight runs via home runs.
Kerce led the Rawhide with three hits and two RBI. The D-backs 2026 2nd round draft pick has 26 hits and 16 BB in his first 23 pro games.
Blanco added two hits and two RBI while Radney finished with two knocks as well.
Chung-Hsiang Huang tied a career high on the mound with six innings of work and set a season high with seven strikeouts. He allowed four runs. Teofilo Mendez added two innings of work with a run allowed and a strikeout.
The final 2026 night game at Valley Strong Ballpark is Saturday with Fan Appreciation Night. Fans can enjoy raffles for exciting prizes all night long. The first 500 fans will receive a Rawhide sun hat and the evening concludes with postgame fireworks presented by Valley Strong Credit Union.
The team on Saturday will also transform into the Central Valley Sir Loins for the final Sir Loin Saturday of 2026 at Valley Strong Ballpark.
Gates open for season ticket holders at 5:15 PM and the general public at 5:30 PM with first pitch at 6:35 PM.
All Rawhide tickets are available through the team’s website and at the stadium box office starting at Noon on Saturday.
