Visalia, CA – The inaugural Rawhide Music Festival presented by the Groppetti Automotive Family and Momentum Broadcasting is this Saturday and Sunday at Valley Strong Ballpark.
The festival kicks off with legendary rock band Slaughter on Saturday night with Rocket Queen, a rock tribute band opening the night. Sunday is headlined by the iconic Mexican band Los Tucanes de Tijuana with special guest Tapy Quintero as the evening’s opener.

Gates open at 6 PM on Saturday with Rocket Queen scheduled to take the stage at 7 PM. On Sunday gates open at 5 PM with Tapy Quintero scheduled to play at 5:45 PM.
Fans can enjoy a preshow meet and greet with the band each night through the VIP Tier 1 package. The package includes field-level exclusive cabana seating for groups of four, front of stage standing access and a beer bucket, chips, salsa and a dedicated server. Fans can purchase VIP packages for either night of the concert through the Rawhide’s ticketing platform.
Slaughter has been thrilling rock fans for generations with 33 years of playing live worldwide including their hits “Fly to the Angels” that peaked at No. 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and “Up All Night” that reached No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Los Tucanes de Tijuana is a preeminent Mexican norteño band known for their up-tempo style and two time platinum hit song “La Chona” which reached No. 16 in the US Latin Billboard Top 100. The pioneering band has won a Latin Grammy, been nominated for five Grammy Awards and played in stadiums and festivals worldwide including Coachella and Petco Park.
