6:36 AM UTC

Fresno, CA – The Visalia Rawhide (42-64, 14-26) scored seven runs in the fourth inning while the bullpen held the Fresno Grizzlies (59-47, 23-17) to two runs in a 7-2 win on Friday evening at Chukchansi Park.

The Rawhide even the week’s series at two games apiece.

Visalia’s big inning started with three straight walks. After an out, Yerald Nin walked to bring home the game's first run. Adriel Radney then grounded into a fielders’ choice and a throwing error by Fresno’s second baseman allowed two runs to score.

The Rawhide offense then came to life with four straight hits. Victor Santana drove home a run on a single to right, Brayden Dowd added a base hit and Carson Kerce laced a two RBI double to center. Ivan Luciano closed the frame with a RBI single.

Visalia’s pitching was excellent all night. Justin Martinez in his second MLB rehab outing with the Rawhide this week tossed a scoreless first inning with a strikeout and a walk on 14 pitches.

Wilkin Paredes earned his second win of the season pitching four innings and allowing just two runs on four strikeouts.

Teofilo Mendez pitched two perfect innings in relief with two strikeouts and Ricardo Yan added two scoreless frames to close out the ballgame.

Fresno’s lone runs scored on a two RBI triple in the fifth inning.

Kerce and Santana led Visalia with two hits apiece. Kerce, the D-backs 2026 2nd round draft pick, has six hits in his first three pro games this week.
