COMSTOCK PARK, MI – Saturday’s scheduled game between the Michigan Snowbirds and Beloit Sky Carp has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Due to steady rain and unplayable field conditions in Comstock Park, the decision was made to postpone the fifth game of the six-game series. A doubleheader is now planned for Sunday beginning at 1:00 PM.
The Whitecaps have won three of the first four games of the series behind dominant pitching, holding Beloit to 1-for-28 with runners in scoring position while posting a team ERA of 2.75. Additionally, Detroit Tigers Top-30 prospect Izaac Pacheco has looked strong since returning from the injured list, going 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs in two games.
