The Wind Surge answered in the bottom half of the inning, drawing a pair of walks before a throwing error at first base allowed a run to score, tying the game at 1-1.

San Antonio regained the lead in the third after a leadoff walk advanced into scoring position and later came around to score on an opposite-field single.

After trading scoreless frames, the Missions added a pair of runs in the fifth. A pair of singles and a double plated one before a sacrifice fly extended the lead to 4-1.
