WASHINGTON -- Perhaps 's bat is beginning to heat up once again.
Harper crushed a solo home run to straightaway center field in the fifth inning against Padres left-hander , setting up the Nationals' 2-1 walk-off victory.
It was Harper's National League-leading 15th home run of the season, one crushed at 110 mph off his bat that traveled 433 feet as projected by Statcast™, landing on the batter's eye in center field.

It was the second consecutive night Harper has swatted a home run, an encouraging sign for the Nationals star, who has been scuffling at the plate this month. But after a pair of hits Monday night, he had two hits in his first three at-bats Tuesday.
