As the Nationals wrap up the first full month of the baseball season, the team returns to D.C. to take on two NL East foes, the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves. After a quick weekend series in the Bronx against the Yankees, the team will again return home for a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Single-game tickets are now available to the general public for every home game from April 30 through May 13. Tickets start at $14 and will be sold in socially distance pods of one to six tickets. Fans who are interested in purchasing tickets should visit nationals.com/Tickets2021.

The third homestand features a Daniel Hudson World Series Bobblehead, World Series Grocery Tote, and the first game of the Military Branch Series, starting with U.S. Navy Day. The promotional schedule for May can be viewed at nationals.com/Promotions.

FRIDAY, APRIL 30

• #FRIDAYS4GOOD

o  For each Friday home game, Nationals Philanthropies will celebrate #FRIDAYS4GOOD to encourage Nationals fans to support important community impact work.

o  The first Friday home game of the 2021 season supported care for rescue animals through Humane Rescue Alliance.

o  On Friday, April 30, fans will be invited to support Nationals Philanthropies directly and help it reach the fundraising goal for the Nationals Home Run Charity 5K, presented by Congressional Sports For Charity.

• The series finale against the Atlanta Braves on Thursday, May 6, will air exclusively on YouTube. First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET. The game will also be broadcasted locally on 106.7 The Fan FM.

• World Series Grocery Tote

o  On Tuesday, May 11 against the Philadelphia Phillies, every fan will receive a World Series Grocery Tote presented by MLB Network.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 12

• Military Branch Series – U.S. Navy Day

o  The Nationals dedicate a special game to honor and celebrate each branch of the military. At each of these games, representatives from the branch will participate in the pregame ceremony and the Salute to Service.

o  The Nationals will kick-off the series with U.S. Navy Day on Wednesday, May 12 against the Philadelphia Phillies.

SCHWARBER’S NEIGHBORHOOD HEROES

• As a son of a decorated police chief and part of a family with a long history of first responders and military service, Nationals outfielder Kyle Schwarber recognizes the unique sacrifice first responders and their families make. 
• In 2017, Schwarber launched Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes, a program created to recognize, honor, and thank first responders for their commitment to others.
• Throughout the 2021 season, Kyle is committed to delivering this message of gratitude at a one-on-one level. Whether virtually or potentially in person later in the year, Kyle will meet with first responder families and recognize individual first responder achievement.
• In honor of International Firefighters Day, on Tuesday, May 4, the Nationals will publish a video of a recent virtual meet-and-greet featuring Kyle and DC Fire and EMS families on the Nationals social channels.
• Stay on the lookout for more interactions with Kyle and local heroes throughout the year, as well as information about other Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes events!

SUMMER READING PROGRAM

• Returning for the eighth consecutive year, the Washington Nationals have partnered with area libraries to address the “summer slide” – the loss of learning that children and teens experience when they do not read during summer vacation – with the Read Like A Champion Summer Reading Program.
• Since the program first began, almost 100,000 participants have logged over 300,000 hours of reading.

NEW HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS AT NATIONALS PARK

• Guests will sit in pods of 1-6 people and suites will be opened at reduced capacities.
• Face coverings that cover both the nose and mouth are required at the ballpark at all times for fans two years of age or older. Face coverings should only be removed to eat or drink while in your seat.
• No bags will be permitted inside Nationals Park, with the exception of medically necessary bags, diaper bags, and clutch purses no larger than 5” x 7” x 3/4”. Binbox lockers will be available outside Right Field

Gate and Home Plate Gate for fans to store unapproved bags outside the ballpark.

• The Nationals will not be offering hard tickets for the 2021 season. All tickets purchased through nationals.com will be digitally delivered through the MLB Ballpark App. Tickets purchased within the App will be color-coded to direct fans to the entrance gate corresponding with their seating section.
• No cash will be accepted for food or beverage purchases, parking, or at team store locations. There are several contactless options for ordering food using the MLB Ballpark App. Please visit nationals.com/MobileOrdering for more information.
• Hundreds of hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the ballpark, and concession stands also have new closeable containers for food items and touchless condiment stations.
• Nationals Park cleaning partners have enhanced the cleaning of all indoor and outdoor spaces and the

Nationals have installed new MERV-13 air filters within indoor spaces, as well as Plexiglas and other suitable dividers in areas where significant face-to-face interaction occurs.

GETTING TO THE BALLPARK

Parking options for Nationals fans are available online at nationals.com/Parking. All Washington Nationals parking lots are now cashless, and will only accept credit card payment at this time. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking in advance to ensure a space in their desired zone. 

Fans traveling to the ballpark should be aware that there are construction projects underway in the surrounding area. To ensure safe crossings, please be mindful of signage and directions given by public safety officers.
