FRANCIS, 33, posted a 1-2 record with a 5.85 ERA in 12 games (one start) for New York (AL), Oakland and Cincinnati last season. The Vancouver, British Columbia native is a veteran of 10 seasons and has recorded 71-80 mark with a 4.95 ERA in 240 games (217 starts), primarily with Colorado.
