Rangers Reinstate Nine Players From 60-Day Disabled List

The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has reinstated nine players from the 60-day disabled list. The list of players, along with their injuries, is below:

  • Outfielder Shin-Soo Choo (surgeries for bone spur in left elbow, torn cartilage in left ankle)
  • Right-handed pitcher Yu Darvish (right elbow inflammation)
  • First baseman Prince Fielder (surgery to repair herniated C5-C6 disc in his neck)
  • Left-handed pitcher Matt Harrison (surgery for displaced vertebra/spondylolisthesis)
  • Designated hitter/first baseman Mitch Moreland (surgery for Os Trigonum Syndrome, left ankle)
  • Right-handed pitcher Alexi Ogando (right elbow inflammation)
  • Left-handed pitcher Martin Perez (left elbow surgery)
  • Infielder Jurickson Profar (torn teres major muscle, right shoulder)
  • Right-handed pitcher Tanner Scheppers (right elbow inflammation)

With today's transactions, the Rangers now have a full 40-man roster.
