Padres announce 2015 Cactus League Spring Training schedule
Pitchers & catchers to report February 19; full squad to report February 24
SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Padres today announced their 2015 Cactus League Spring Training schedule, in what will be the club's 22nd spring in Peoria, Ariz.
Padres' pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Peoria on Thursday, February 19, with their first workout scheduled for Friday, February 20. Position players are scheduled to report on Tuesday, February 24, with the club's first full-squad workout on Wednesday, February 25. The team will begin its 30-game spring schedule with the annual charity game on Wednesday, March 4 as the designated home team against the Seattle Mariners at the Peoria Sports Complex.
In total, the Padres will play 17 of their 30 games next spring in Peoria, 16 of which as the "home" team. Three night games are included in the home schedule: Friday, March 20 vs. Kansas City, Friday, March 27 vs. Colorado and Tuesday, March 31 vs. Kansas City. Night game times begin at 7:05 pm PT. The club will break camp following their Cactus League finale vs. Milwaukee at 12:05 pm on Thursday, April 2.
The Padres will open the 2015 regular season against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on Monday, April 6. The Padres home opener will be Thursday, April 9 vs. the San Francisco Giants. The complete Spring Training broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date.
Peoria Stadium underwent renovations since the conclusion of Cactus League play in 2014, highlighted by a full seat replacement in the seating bowl, added field-level seating, an expanded outfield berm walkway with amenities, a party terrace on the third base side of the second level, a two-tiered group pavilion in the left field corner, an expanded ticket office and a new 2,400 square foot souvenir store.

The Peoria Sports Complex ticket office will open on January 10, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
