Tigers announce Minor League assignments for 2015
DETROIT - The Detroit Tigers today announced the minor league field staff assignments for the 2015 season.
Joe DePastino (catching coordinator), Bruce Fields (hitting coordinator), A.J. Sager (pitching coordinator), Gene Roof (outfield and baserunning coordinator), Brian Peterson (performance enhancement instructor), Dr. George Carlo (performance coach), Sharon Lockwood (coordinator of international player programs), Albert Gonzalez (ESL/cultural assimilation instructor), Corey Tremble (medical coordinator) and Esteban Melendez (minor league international medical coordinator) will all return in their respective positions for the 2015 season.
Scott Fletcher, Carlos Chantres and Phil Clark have each joined the Tigers organization. Fletcher will serve as the minor league infield coordinator, Chantres will be the pitching coach for Single A Connecticut and Clark will be the hitting coach for Single A West Michigan. Steve Chase has been promoted to the minor league strength and conditioning coordinator.
