Ronnie Ortegon Resigns from Player Development Staff

The Atlanta Braves have been informed that minor league hitting coordinator Ronnie Ortegon has stepped down from his position, citing personal reasons. Ortegon joined the Braves prior to the 2014 season after working seven seasons in the Cincinnati Reds organization.

The Braves will begin an immediate search for Ortegon's replacement. Atlanta's minor league players report to spring training at ESPN Wide World of Sports on March 6.
