Single-game tickets go on sale Feb 28; Promo schedule released

Single-game tickets for Tampa Bay Rays 2015 regular-season home games will go on sale starting Saturday, February 28. The team also announced its promotion schedule for 2015. On 27 weekend dates throughout the season, the Rays will once again offer unique giveaway items.

Single-game tickets will go on sale according to the following timeline:

Saturday, February 28: Online to the general public exclusively at raysbaseball.com, beginning at 10 a.m.

Monday, March 2: On sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. through the following channels: all Ticketmaster outlets, the Rays Tampa Store at 400 N. Tampa St., Gate 1 Tropicana Field Box Office, by calling 888-FAN-RAYS and online at raysbaseball.com.

Rays Insider subscribers will have the opportunity to participate in a special online presale on Friday, February 27. The deadline for registration is Thursday, February 26 at noon. Three Fridays during the season will feature giveaways specifically for women, including a Rays Cowboy Hat, presented by Outback Steakhouse (June 26 vs. Red Sox).

Saturday promotional items this year include the Alex Cobb Gumby (April 18 vs. Yankees); a Chris Archer Bobblehead (April 25 vs. Blue Jays) presented by DEX Imaging; an Evan Longoria Walk-Up Music Bobblehead (May 9 vs. Rangers) presented by Sun Sports; and a Kevin Kiermaier "Outlaw" Action Figure (August 29 vs. Royals).

Sundays will once again be Family Fun Days. Every Sunday home game will feature free parking for cars with four or more passengers and a variety of postgame activities for kids including Kids Run the Bases and a DJ Kitty Dance Party featuring mascots and entertainers. For the third year in a row, concourse activities will be complimentary for kids 14 and under. Activities include the Grand Slam Alley, Power Alley Batting Cage, Speed Pitch, Raymond's Art Studio and Topps Make Your Own Baseball Card. Extra entertainers will also be provided on Sundays including face painters, airbrush tattoo artists, magicians, caricaturist, stilt walkers, jugglers, and balloon artists.

Kids promotional items on Sundays include an Evan Longoria Rubber Duck (April 19 vs. Yankees); Desmond Jennings Batting Gloves (April 26 vs. Blue Jays) presented by Match-Up Promotions; a Rays Etch A Sketch presented by Sagicor Life Insurance Company (June 14 vs. White Sox); and a Rays Retro Tin Lunch Box presented by Bright House Networks (June 28 vs. Red Sox). Except for a Mother's Day Shared Moments picture frame on May 10 vs. Rangers, all Sunday giveaways are for kids 14 and under, while supplies last.
