Royals Offer Peanut Friendly Dates in 2015

KANSAS CITY, MO (Thursday, February 19) - The Kansas City Royals have announced that they will continue to offer Peanut Friendly Games at The K - designed for individuals with peanut allergies and their families. During nine designated games during the 2015 home season, the Royals will make a private suite available for those who have difficulty attending games at Kauffman Stadium due to their peanut allergy.

A limited number of tickets for each designated game will be available in the Joe Burke Suite, which is located on the Press Box Level of Kauffman Stadium. Suite ticket prices range from $60 to $80 per guest depending on the game and includes a peanut-friendly food and non-alcoholic drink menu. In addition, a First Aid Attendant and Guest Services Representative will be located inside the suite for assistance. The Peanut Friendly Games at The K are scheduled for the following dates. 

Saturday, April 18 vs. Oakland Athletics - Prime Game - $70 per guest ticket

Saturday, May 2 vs. Detroit Tigers - Prime Game - $70 per guest ticket

Wednesday, May 6 vs. Cleveland Indians - Classic Game - $60 per guest ticket

Thursday, June 18 vs. Milwaukee Brewers - Classic Game - $60 per guest ticket

Sunday, June 21 vs. Boston Red Sox - Prime Game - $70 per guest ticket

Sunday, July 12 vs. Toronto Blue Jays - Select Game - $60 per guest ticket

Tuesday, July 21 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates - Select Game - $60 per guest ticket

Saturday, August 8 vs. Chicago White Sox - Prime Game - $70 per guest ticket

Saturday, September 26 vs. Cleveland Indians - Marquee Game - $80 per guest ticket

All persons seated in the Peanut Friendly Suite will be required to sign a waiver before entering Kauffman Stadium. Individuals under the age of 18 also must have the waiver signed by their parent or other legal guardian. Please note that the Royals reserve the right to request a doctor's note verifying the allergy.

Please note: Peanut friendly does not mean peanut free. Peanuts will be present in other areas throughout the ballpark. The Royals play in a venue where wind and other conditions outside of their control may impact the peanut friendly suite. While reasonable efforts will be made, including posting signs outside the peanut friendly suite to restrict peanut products in direct neighboring areas and performing additional cleaning in advance, we cannot guarantee the absence of peanut particles and residue from either. Guests with peanut allergies should take all precautions that they customarily take in public places with potential exposure.
