White Sox announce March 12 game time change at Camelback Ranch - Glendale; start time for game with Giants now 4:05 p.m.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - The Chicago White Sox have agreed to move the start time for their March 12 spring training game against the visiting San Francisco Giants to 4:05 p.m. MT. This adjustment from the original 1:05 p.m. MT time slot is to accommodate a request by Major League Baseball, which is collaborating with HBO to film a special that day during games in Arizona.

This production, which also will include live tapings at four other Cactus League spring training ballparks on March 12, will be dedicated to the fight against cancer and will include a charitable component and an awareness campaign. Further details will be announced at a later date.

Gates to Camelback Ranch - Glendale now will open at 1:05 p.m. with batting practice and infield for both teams open to the public. The White Sox will hit from 1:05-2:05 pm while the Giants hit from 2:05-3:05 p.m.
