Atlanta Braves Make Spring Roster Moves

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The Atlanta Braves trimmed their spring roster today as seven players were reassigned to minor league camp.

The list includes right-handed pitcher Jason Hursh, catchers Matt Kennelly and Chris O'Dowd, infielders Daniel Castro and Rio Ruiz and outfielders Cedric Hunter and Mallex Smith.

Atlanta now has 53 active players remaining in its Major League camp. The Braves begin the 2015 campaign on Monday, April 6, at Miami (4:10 p.m., SportSouth).
