Red Sox announce roster moves

Prior to today's game against the Twins, the Boston Red Sox made the following roster moves:

Infielders Sean Coyle and Travis Shaw were optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket.

Right-handed pitchers Miguel Celestino, Keith Couch, and Noe Ramirez, and first baseman/outfielder Bryan LaHair were reassigned to minor league camp.

The announcements were made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Ben Cherington.

With these moves, the Red Sox now have 51 players in big league camp, including 38 players from the 40-man roster, and 13 non-roster invitees.
