Fox Sports Southwest, Texas Rangers announce 2015 local television schedule

For first time all games to be carried on FSSW 157 games slated for Regional Sports Network

FOX Sports Southwest and the Texas Rangers today announced the 2015 Rangers local television schedule highlighted by FOX Sports Southwest for the first time carrying all games not selected for national broadcast.

FOX Sports Southwest is scheduled to televise 157 regular-season games, its most ever, and four spring training contests. Five games are slated for national broadcast as part of Major League Baseball's national television packages with FOX (one game), FOX Sports 1 (three) and ESPN (one) rounding out the TV schedule.

Regular-season coverage on FOX Sports Southwest begins on Monday, April 6 at 9:00 p.m. CT with the season opener at Oakland. The home opener on Friday, April 10 vs. Houston at 3:00 p.m. CT will include a special three-hour RANGERS LIVE pregame show starting at noon CT.  

FOX Sports Southwest's Rangers coverage in 2015 will again feature RANGERS LIVE pregame and postgame shows for every regular-season game, the popular LUNCH WITH THE RANGERS weekday series featuring one-hour condensed replays from the previous day, and the weekly RANGERS INSIDER magazine show.

Steve Busby returns for his third full season as the play-by-play announcer and will be joined by Tom Grieve, who begins his 21st season as the primary analyst. Mark McLemore will work as the analyst for approximately 30 home and road games while also serving as an analyst on RANGERS LIVE.

Emily Jones is back as the field reporter for the majority of home telecasts and a select number of road games and also will host RANGERS INSIDER. Jim Knox will continue as the roving reporter on home games.

John Rhadigan and Dana Larson will host RANGERS LIVE with Rangers Hall of Famer Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez back for his second season as analyst with McLemore.

FOX Sports Southwest begins its Rangers coverage this week with a spring training game on Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 PM CT vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers in the H-E-B Big League Weekend from the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Other spring training telecasts on FOX Sports Southwest in 2015 include Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 p.m. CT vs. Colorado from Surprise, Ariz.; Saturday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m. vs. San Diego at Surprise, and the final spring game of the season on Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m. against the New York Mets at Globe Life Park in Arlington.     

Rangers telecasts on FOX Sports Southwest will be available to over 10 million cable and satellite TV homes in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
