Cardinals Send Six Players to Minors
Greenwood & Tuivailala Optioned to Memphis (AAA), Four Others Re-Assigned
JUPITER, Fla., March 21, 2015 - Following today's game, the St. Louis Cardinals announced that they have optioned pitchers Nick Greenwood and Sam Tuivailala to the Memphis (AAA) roster and re-assigned non-roster pitchers Tim Cooney, Dean Kiekhefer, Zach Petrick and Miguel Socolovich to the Memphis team.
Today's moves put the number of players on the team's 40-man roster at 34 and the team now has 42 players remaining in Major League camp.
