Twins Optione Aaron Thompson to Triple-A Rochester

Ft. Myers, FL - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned left-handed pitcher Aaron Thompson to Triple-A Rochester. Thompson made seven appearances this spring, going 1-1 with a 2.16 ERA (8.1 IP, 2 ER), two walks and six strikeouts.

The Twins now have 29 players in camp (4 non-roster): 13 pitchers (1 non-roster), 4 catchers (1 non-roster), 8 infielders (1 non-roster) and 4 outfielders (1 non-roster).
