Pirates acquire Hunter Morris from Milwaukee

The Pirates have acquired first baseman Hunter Morris from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for a player to be named.

The left-handed hitting Morris was Milwaukee's fourth-round selection in the 2010 First-Year Player Draft.

Morris, 26, hit .275 (102-for-371) with 11 home runs and 45 RBI in 103 games at three levels within the Milwaukee organization last season. He spent a majority of the season with Triple-A Nashville, where he batted .279 with 11 homers and 42 RBI in 91 games.

He led the Southern League in RBI (113) in 2012.
