Royals secure outright waivers on pitcher Louis Coleman

KANSAS CITY, MO (April 3, 2015) - The Kansas City Royals today announced that the club has secured outright waivers on right-handed pitcher Louis Coleman, who has been assigned to Triple-A Omaha. Coleman, who turns 29 tomorrow, has pitched in 148 Major League games with Kansas City since debuting in 2011.

Following the move, the Royals have 34 active players in Major League camp and 38 players on the 40-man roster.
