White Sox make seven roster moves

CHARLOTTE - Following tonight's exhibition game at Class AAA Charlotte, the Chicago White Sox announced the following seven roster moves:

• Optioned RHP Erik Johnson to Charlotte;
• Outrighted RHP Maikel Cleto and LHP Onelki Garcia to Charlotte;
• Reassigned RHP Jairo Asencio, OF Engel Beltre, C George Kottaras and RHP Arcenio Leon to minor-league camp.

With the moves, the White Sox have 28 players remaining in major-league camp: 14 pitchers, two catchers, eight infielders and four outfielders. The 40-man roster decreases to 37.
